International Aid Serving Kids (IASK) is a volunteer organization for child advocacy and humanitarian aid. We founded IASK in 2002 with the belief that one person can make a difference in the world.
Our mission is to improve the living conditions of orphaned, abandoned, and poverty-stricken children around the world. Based in Orem, Utah, we work with local families and a variety of partners to ensure these children receive shelter, food, education, clothing, and health care. We accomplish this mission by working with our members and other organizations to find loving homes for these children, and to prevent abandonment by providing education and job training.
Currently, our focus is on the children of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Through our foster care program, we place children in a family environment with loving foster parents, and provide for the child’s cost of living. Our humanitarian health task force sends teams to these countries to provide free medical and dental care, and to teach basic health principles.
IASK exists only by the support of many talented volunteers. Currently, there are over 50 active members of IASK who oversee operations. Our Board of Trustees and Executive Council comprise volunteers with finance, accounting, business, and medical backgrounds.
